About Us

For nearly four decades, Rollersnakes has been a trusted source for top-quality footwear, clothing, accessories, and hardware. Featuring a curated selection from both renowned and niche brands in the skate and street fashion world.

Founded in Derby in 1985, we've experienced steady growth, at one point establishing shops in Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, and Stoke. We had our first indoor mini ramp in our Nottingham store, which had the likes of Eric Dressen, Mark Gonzales, and countless other UK and Euro legends pass through. The ramp also featured in one of the most influential and ground-breaking skate videos of all time Blind’s Video Days.

During the mid 90s, we shifted our focus to our mail order service, delivering our products nationwide via our catalogues, printed ads and our video magazine series ‘Videologue’. With growing demand, we made the decision to close our shops and move everything to a warehouse in our hometown of Derby. We also established a storefront at our warehouse site, and this is where we continue to operate to this day.

Our commitment to UK skateboarding has always been unwavering, evident in our pioneering UK scene videos, Rollersnakes 540 and Rollersnakes 720. These videos showcased talents like Alex Moul, Tom Penny and Geoff Rowley, alongside skaters from all over the country.

Since 1985, we've been the go-to destination for local skaters, introducing brands like Santa Cruz, Powell Peralta, and Vans. We've continued to expand our inventory, now supplying brands such as Adidas, Carhartt WIP, DC, Element, Independent and more.

Over the last decade, we've made huge efforts to provide on-site skateparks for all our loyal customers. We now proudly feature three areas that are ALL FREE TO SKATE whenever the store is open. The outdoor spot, The Tracks, features banks, kerbs, a pool-coping-topped concrete quarter, and a new taco corner! Our indoor spot, The Crypt has a 3 foot mini ramp with assorted banks, hips and quaterpipes. The Vault, our original ramp, is a 5 foot midi with extensions and sits at the back of the store, and has seen the likes of Andrew Reynolds and Bryan Herman.

While much has changed in 40 years, one thing remains constant: Rollersnakes and our dedicated team are committed to offering the best products, advice, and service to our valued customers as we continue to evolve and grow.
