BIO-BASED NYLON FRAMES
Since 2019, all plastic parts of ARNETTE frames have been made using bio-based Nylon, an alternative material with a percentage of bio-based carbon content in a range between a minimum of 56%* to a maximum of 59%*, which represents the amount of raw material coming from renewable sources (castor oil) and replaces the fossil based one.

RECYCLED PLASTIC FRAME
The waste coming from the production of the injected frames is collected and mechanically recycled for the creation of new frames, made with 95% recycled plastic through an internal circular process that can be carried out several times without impacting the quality and performance of the material.

Bio-based nylon Lens
These lenses are set on all ARNETTE bio-based acetate frames and they are made of bio-based nylon featuring at least 41%* bio-based carbon content coming from renewable sources, such as castor oil. Bio-based lenses maintains the same features as traditional ones.
